STOP TO PRAY MEDALLION

Did you know that during the course of your life, you will spend an average of six months sitting at traffic lights? You will also spend an average of 45 minutes a day commuting to and from work! THAT’S A LOT OF WASTED TIME!!! Across America it’s also becoming a very dangerous time; incidences of road rage increase each year.

We have developed the Stop To Pray Medallion to hang in your car to remind you to put that traffic-light and commute-time to good use–prayer! This ministry believes that God uses the ‘stops’ in life as an opportunity to turn your heart toward Him, even praying for the individuals in the cars around us.

Let the letters S.T.O.P. remind you to:

S-eek the Lord daily

T-rust the Lord moment-by-moment

O-bey the Lord without delay

P-raise the Lord joyfully

May we daily surrender every area of our lives to the Lord by:

Seeking Him –  Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

“A vertical focus will keep us from a horizontal panic!”

Trusting Him  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Prov. 3:5,6

A great acrostic for FAITH:  Fantastic Adventure In Trusting Him

Obeying Him – If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love.  I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. John 15:9-11

How is your OLT (Obedience Lag Time)? From the time God tells you to do something, how long does it take you to obey?

Praising Him – I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. Psalms 34:1

We walk with, talk with, and serve an awesome Holy God!  Did you know that there are 100 billion galaxies and 10 billion trillion stars- as many stars as there are grains of sand. If all the stars were divided equally among all the people on the earth, we would each receive 2 trillion stars! – Dr. Bill Bright

What a privilege to spend time with the Creator of the universe. He deserves our worship, our praise, our adoration!
